We are pleased to announce we have an immediate opening for a team and service oriented individual to fill a Full-Time Guest Services Representative role with Calgary Tower.

We have an immediate opening for a Full-Time Guest Services Representative at the Calgary Tower. Under the leadership of the Manager and Supervisors, you will provide exceptional customer service to our guests. You will greet people, answer questions about Calgary, and provide visitors with an unforgettable experience 525 feet above the downtown core.

This position is supervised by Calgary Tower Management Team. As a Guest Services Representative with the Calgary Tower, you will work full-time hours which can include days, evenings, weekends, and public holidays. Candidates’ availability & flexibility will be a top consideration.
KEY DUTIES

Process admission transactions and handle cash

Process retail transactions & assist in merchandising

Manage visitor access to the facility

Respond to in-person and telephone inquiries

Assist supervisors and managers as required

Provide visitors with information about the Calgary Tower and the city

Assist with audio guides
-
Perform additional duties within your areas of interest and abilities (the sky’s the limit – literally!)
COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

A high school diploma and/or post-secondary education program

Maturity, flexibility, reliability, and punctuality

Cash-handling experience

Professionalism

A courteous, personable, and engaging attitude

Fluency in English both written and verbal

Excellent communication skills

Computer skills (proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite)
